Project Information
StoveTeam International was the brainchild of a woman Rotarian in her 60s. Helping with medical missions in Central America, she noticed that a majority of the problems were caused by families cooking indoors over open fires. Upper respiratory problems, burns and other ailments led her to design a fuel-efficient stove that was cool to the touch and portable.
